We sat on this beach in the afternoon at the Barnacle B & B and later in the evening moved to the roof and the veranda overlooking this beach. Unfortunately, Randy and I got eaten alive by no-seeums that came out near dusk.

Go Bill and Mary-Carter at John Pennekamp State Park
Go Bill and Mary-Carter sitting along the glass-bottom well of the boat taking us out to the Pennekamp Park reef
Go The glass bottom for viewing the ocean bottom. We could actually see the oodles of fish and coral and other sealife quite well. A guide told us what we were seeing.
Go A walk in the Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park in the Upper Keys
Go Bill and Randy check out the view from the dock at the Yellowtail Inn in Grassy Key (middle keys). The four of us shared a rather small suite, but the setting was superb and the cost reasonable.
Go Bill hits the hammock soon after arriving at the Yellowtail Inn
Go Randy snags the lounge chair on the beach of the Yellowtail Inn
Go We had a delightful self-made breakfast on our beach patio at the Yellowtail Inn
Go The view from our unit at the Yellowtail Inn at mile marker 58
Go Great White Heron at a small lake in the middle keys
Go This is the atrium where we ate breakfast at the wonderful Barnacle B & B in Big Pine Key in the lower keys. Randy and I had a luxurious room off the atrium.
Go Bill and Mary-Carter's tree-house quarters at the Barnacle B & B

Go The front of Hemmingway's house in Key West. It was raining the day we were there. It was also crowded. But it was a very interesting place to visit.
Go Randy and Bill walking along a Key West waterfront
Go Bill and Mary-Carter on The Grand Guesthouse patio in Key West where we had our breakfasts.
